feet buried in the sand
shells to gather (and add to our nature table)
lots of homemade food: potato salad, bread, brownies, macaroni salad; mixed in with the "usual" camping fare: hot dogs, hamburgers, s'mores
the fun of running in and out of the tent (over, and over, and over, again!)
a visit to the aquarium
kite flying weather
...we went camping again this memorial day weekend, this time at the Outer Banks of North Carolina (a much shorter drive than Assateague Island, where we camped last year). camping & a beach weekend was just the right way to start off our summer season...
