...it's the middle of strawberry season, and we made time on Saturday to stop by our local patch. this was ben's first time, and he reacted much the same way he did at the pumpkin patch - amazed by all the choices!
we brought home a good amount, though i'm not sure of how many pounds. of course, we enjoyed strawberries as part of our dinner, and for breakfast the next morning. and, of course, a bowl of strawberries and cream...
we prepped the rest for the strawberry jam, and strawberry ice cream i'll be making this week (recipes and photos to come!)
